HOW TO MAKE A NO SEW SIMPLE BABY POUCH IN EASY STEPS:
A simple Baby Pouch is an easy to make project that can be done in a couple of hours. When complete, you will have a nice warm blanket/carrier for your baby that will go anywhere.The idea of a no sew baby pouch utilizes the same technique used for creating a simple baby blanket with a twist. Essentially, you are taking a single piece of fleece fabric and fusing it together with bows that tie the edges to create a warm ,comfy carrier for your baby. Once they grow too big to fit inside, it can double as their baby blanket for years of security and comfort.
Here are the basic steps to create a simple baby pouch:
1: Select a piece of fleece and fold in half. It is recommended you use a piece of fleece at least 24 inches wide and 48 inches long. The size can vary depending on preference.
2.. Fold each piece on top to create a flap on each side, cut both thickness of front flap together and double tie front and back tie of front flap. Repeat with second back flap.
3. Cut small openings through both material of front, and the 2 pieces of material on the back flap, equally spaced on the flap. Cut strips of contrasting material of your choice , against the bias so the material doesn’t stretch. Pull the strip through the openings and tie to make a bow. Repeat equally spaced on front sides to secure the material ..Repeat with front and back flap.
4. You may want to trim the bows if they are uneven.You can also add more bows on the center or bottom of the pouch.
